James M. Winsett, 71 of Corinth passed away on May 19, 2010. Committal Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
He was born on January 9, 1939 in San Antonio, TX. to the late "Buster" and Kate Winsett. He served our country in the United States Navy and then began a fulfilling career within the manufacturing and electronics industry. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and adored his daughters and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Kim Dooty and husband, Chris Dooty of Corinth and Stephanie Winsett of Pilot Point; brothers and sisters, Richard Winsett and wife, Ann, Larry Winsett, Sharon Walter, and Wade Winsett and wife, Pee Wee all of San Antonio; Grandchildren, Preston Dooty, Tyler Dooty, Jenna Dooty all of Corinth, and Mikey Lamb of Pilot Point; Aunt, "Babe" Malone, George and Sadie Ennis all of San Antonio; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many special relatives and a host of friends.
A special memorial gathering will be held in the home of Chris and Kim Dooty following the service.
