Mrs. Mary S. Posey, nee Gleaton, walks no more on earth. For sixty-eight years she was among us and how she was loved. Like her husband who left us suddenly last year one Sunday evening, Sister Posey left us suddenly on Sunday and went to her reward. Five children live to mourn their loss. The last years of her life were burdened with afflictions but she bore them submissively and never murmured. For many years she was a Methodist of the old school and did live to speak of the good times she use to have at the camp meetings. She loved her Church, above all her Lord. The boundary of her earthly life was not large, but infinity has now divided and her infirmities have been taken away. We believe Sister Posey has joined her husband, Melvin A. Posey, in the Christian's home in glory. She lies buried by his side in Old Hopewell Methodist Church cemetery. The consolations of the Gospel support the loved ones in this dark hour. O.M.
