William E. Garman, of Boiling Springs, R.D. 1, died this morning at 11 o'clock at the home of his son Benjamin Garman at Lutztown after a two weeks' illness. Wednesday night he suffered a stroke. He was aged 67 years.

He was a member of the United Brethren Church of Boiling Springs and the Boiling Springs Camp, Modern Woodmen of America.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. George L. Snyder, of Carlisle; Mrs. Robert Shetron, Boiling Springs, R.D.; Mrs. Frank M. Frey, Carlisle, John E. Garman, Mt. Holly Springs, Mrs. John W. Otto, Carlisle, R.D. 7; Mrs. Herman R. Carr, Boiling Springs, R.D. 1; Mrs. Morris Paxten (sic), Boiling Springs; Roy E. Garman, Boiling Springs; twenty-three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were not completed today.

Carlisle, Feb. 8. - Funeral services for William E. Garman, 67, who died yesterday morning at the home of his son, Benjamin Garman, Lutztown, will be held Tuesday afternoon meeting at the late home at 1 o'clock with further services in the United Brethren Church, Boiling Springs, at 1:30. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. George L. Snyder, of Carlisle; Mrs. Robert Shetron, Boiling Springs; Mrs. Frank M. Frey, Carlisle; John E. Garman, Mt. Holly Springs; Mrs. John W. Otto, Carlisle, R.D. 7; Mrs. Herman R. Carr, Boiling Springs, R.D. 1; Mrs. Morris Paxten, Boiling Springs. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
