Mr. Harvey S. Zimmerman, age 74, a well-known citizen and business man of Frederick, died at his home on East Patrick Street, after an illness lasting two and a half weeks. He was a member of the Evangelical Reformed church where he served several terms as both elder and deacon. He was a member of Lynch Lodge No. 163, AF&A Masons and the Junior Fire Company. Mr. Zimmerman came to Frederick at the age of 19 and nearly his entire time here was associated with the D.C. Winebrener Company.
Funeral services took place at the late home and were conducted by Rev. Dr. Henri L.G. Kieffer, pastor of the Evangelical Reformed church. The funeral was in charge of Lynch Lodge No. 163. AF&A Masons from the lodge were casket bearers. Fellow associates of the deceased at D.C. Winebrener and Son, Inc. acted as honorary bearers.
