Misty was a 2001 graduate from Alvin High School, Alvin Texas. Misty was born Dec 12th 1982 in Port Lavaca Calhoun County Texas. Misty died March 4 2002 in Alvin Texas of smoke inhalation from a house fire.Services for Misty were held at Scotts Funeral Home in Alvin Texas. Misty was cremated and some of her ashes are buried at the foot of her greatgrandmothers grave at Oak Park Cemetery Alvin Texas. She is survived by Her mother Lisa Shaw, Brothers Shawn Blackwell of Alvin Texas, Shane Shaw, Jerrad Shaw and His wife Carrisa and two daughters Misty Jean and Carol Lynn June Shaw all of Madisonville Tennessee. Grandmother Carolyn Keeton of Chattanooga Tennessee, her grandfather Thomas Keeton of Wilmington North Carolina. Misty was what we call a people person, she loved being around people, babies, young people, teenagers, middle aged and elderly people. Misty was an avid Betty Boop collector. We thought she looked like Betty Boop too. We miss her dearly.
