He was the spouse of Vine Elizabeth Lawrimore.

Lawrence Native C.C. Lawrimore Dies At Mt. Hope

MOULTON -- Christopher Columbus Lawrimore, 83, of Mt. Hope, died at 10:45 P.M. Saturday at his residence. Funeral services were to be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mt. Hope Baptist Church.

Burial was to be in Old Town Creek cemetery on Russellville-Moulton Highway with Elliott Funeral home of Moulton in charge.

The Rev. Simpson, pastor at Mt. Hope and the Rev. Dennis Tucker of Decatur were to officiate. Mr. Lawrimore was a native of Lawrence County.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Mattie McGlown, Moulton, Mrs. Ada Braley, Mt. Hope, Mrs. Mary Ann Nichols, Mt. Hope, Mrs. Willie Parker, Moulton and Mrs. Pearlie Martin, Mt. Hope; five sons, Henry of Indiana, Andrew, Falkville, Roy, Chicago, and Lonnie and Walter Lawrimore, both of Mt. Hope; one sister, Mrs. Mary Campbell, Decatur and two brothers, Taylor and Andy Lawrimore, both of California.

Pallbearers were to be Raymond and Herman Lawrimore, Wallace Braley, Russell Martin, Jr., Marshall Nichols, Edward Parker.
