BRISTOL - Roger W. Allen Jr., 50, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, in Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.
He was born June 23, 1959, in Burlington, the son of Roger and Madeline (Chaloux) Allen Sr.
He was a member of American Legion Post #19 in Bristol, and VFW in Middlebury.
Roger is survived by seven children, Jennifer, Stephen, Anna, Clayton, Roger III, Jared, and Harley; two grandchildren; a brother, Dennis and wife, Julie; a sister, Kathy and husband, Doug Carbino; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. on Tuesday June 1, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol.
Interment will be in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. There will be no public calling hours.
