The deceased came to High River district in 1903 from Illinois, with Mrs. Van Winkle and family, and homesteaded near Blackie, and was always active and industrious in his work. He was in his 67th year, and leaves a widow, six sons, Messrs. Herbert and Chester, of High River; Clay, of Cardston; Abe of Colorado; Howard and Leon, of Washington, and one daughter, Mrs. Annie Wayant, of Brant. The funeral will take place from the family residence in High River, on Monday, January 21st, at 2:30. Interment in High River Cemetery.
