He married Augusta Marie Clements and together the had six children: Grace (Hudson) Maxted, Edward Hudson, III, Mack Hudson, Melanie (Hudson) DuPont, Edith and Bernard Hudson.
Edward passed away Thursday, March 16, 1933 in Jackson County, Ms. Survivors include his widow, his children; three sons, three daughters, his mother; three bothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his father; Edward and 4 brothers; Emil, Charles, Thomas and Ralph Hudson.
