Moses Mack Reeves was the son of Hardin Licurgas Reeves and Mary Elizabeth Mayfield. He died on Saturday, January 30, 1971 in a Yellville Hospital near Yellville, Marion, Arkansas. His Obituary appeared on February 4, 1971 in the Baxter Bulletin newspaper in Mountain Home, Baxter, Arkansas. Survivors included his wife, two stepsons, four stepdaughters, a brother, David Reeves of Crane, Mo.; two half-brothers, Arthur Edgar Reeves of Wichita, Kans., and John Allen Reeves of Los Angeles, California.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Helen Reeves Baker of Shafter, California; three half-sisters; Edna Lola Reeves Thurman, Ora Florence Reeves Gehrer and Cora Mae Reeves Goates, all of Wichita and several grandsons.

He was married to Nancy M. "Nannie" Walker on October 22, 1911 in Cotter, Baxter, Arkansas. After she died in 1956, he remarried to Martha Belle "Bell" Treat. She was the widow of John Henry Ray.

Moses Mack Reeves was a Mason and a retired Engineer for the Missouri Pacific Lines Railroad White River Division.
