Mrs. Mary A. Taggart, widow of Robert Taggart, formerly operator of the old Central hotel here, died in the Illinois Central hospital in Chicago Monday.
Mrs. taggart, 93, had lived at the Hayes hotel in Chicago many years. Mr. Taggart died in 1906.
She leaves three children, Mrs.Mary Shimer, Kenosha, Wis,Robert O.Taggart of Texas and Edgar L. Taggart in Chicago. Two sons,Ralph and Tom preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held in Chicago today and the body will then be brought to the Dawson and Wikoff funeral home here where friends may call after 8:30 pm today. Graveside services will be held in Greenwood cemetery at 10 am Thursday.
