Donna M. Garst, age 67, a resident of Ludlow, MO, passed away at Livingston Manor Care Center in Chillicothe on Monday, May 17, 2010.

She was born on July 10, 1942, the daughter of Leslie Clayborn and Lena Viola (Bratcher) Caldwell in Westboro, MO. On Jan. 24, 1959, she married Sherman Garst in Cowgill. He survives of the home.

Donna was the Monroe Township County Collector and she worked for Golden Age Nursing Home for over 20 years, Morning Side Center Nursing Home and Boss Glove Factory. She was a member of the Ludlow Baptist Chapel in Ludlow.

Donna enjoyed crossword puzzles, music and reading. She was a big MIZZOU fan and loved spending time with her family.

She is also survived by one son, Randy Lee Garst of Ludlow; two daughters, Pamela Sue Herndon and fiancé Jeffrey Kaiser of Chillicothe and Charlotte Ann Remagen (Tim) of Gladstone; three brothers, Bud Caldwell (Erma) of Richmond, Bob Caldwell (Bertha) of Savannah and Larry Dean Caldwell (Kristi) of Junction City, KS; one sister, Carol June Guthals (Mike) of Forest City; one sister-in-law, Edna Charlotte Morse of Galdstone; five grandchildren, Cory James Craft of Springfield, Zackary William Craft of St. Joseph, Tiffany Lynn Craft of Chillicothe, Cole Remagen of Gladstone, Leslie Garst of Ludlow; three great-grandchildren, Khloie and Tucker Craft of Breckenridge and Lance Sayers of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.

Services will be held at the Ludlow Baptist Chapel, in Ludlow, on Thursday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in McCroskrie Cemetery in Ludlow. Memorial contributions may be made to the McCroskrie Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
