from nyhistoricnewspapers.org Sullivan County Record June 14 1928 page 5: "Fred Beseth and Evelyn Madelyn Rohrback daughter of John Rohrback were married in the Lutheran Parsonage, Liberty on June 2 1928. Witnesses: Mrs Helen Tyler and Clarence Green."

From the Sullivan County Democrat Microfilm at Callicoon Library in an issue printed January 5 1967:
"Services were held for Fred M Beseth, 76, of Airport Road, Liberty, who died Friday, December 30 1966 in Liberty-Loomis Hospital after a long illness.
Born in the Town of Liberty January 10 1890, the son of Andrew and Katarina Yeaggi Beseth, he married Evelyn Rohrback June 2 1928 in Liberty.
Mr Beseth was a retired carpenter and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liberty.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Frederick and Ronald, both of Liberty, one daughter, Marjorie of Liberty; five grandchildren; one brother, Charles of Niagara Falls; and two sisters, Mrs Charles Carr and Mrs Walter Baum, both of Niagara Falls.
Services were held in Ramsay's Funeral Home, Liberty, with the Rev Clifford R Rhode officiating Monday. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery."
