Services for Doris Dunn, 72, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Westwood Church, 87th and Upland Ave., with Reverend Steve Shaw and Reverend Randy Turner officiating. Interment will follow at the Amherst Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sanders Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dunn passed away on May 22, 2010.

Doris was born Oct. 20, 1937 in Lamb County, Texas to M.D. (Bud) and Ruth Walden. She moved to Lubbock County as a child. Doris married Earl E. Dunn on July 25, 1952 in Lubbock. She was a loving wife and mother, and she assisted her husband in farming and team truck driving. Doris was a member of Westwood Church.

Loved ones include her husband; five children and spouses; twelve grandchildren and spouses; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers; a sister; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Memorials are suggested to the Westwood Church-Building Fund.
