PATRICIA "PATTY" BORNKAMP, 81, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Born in Fort Wayne, she work-ed as a stenographer with NIPSCO for 32 years, retiring in 1986. She was also a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Laura Gooley of LaOtto; son, Mark Bornkamp of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Matthew Rasler and David Bornkamp, both of Fort Wayne and Daniel Bornkamp; granddaughters, Erin Rasler of Chicago, Ill., Jennifer Rasler of Fort Wayne, AnnaMarie Gooley of LaOtto and Emily Wallace; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Clemmer and Georgeann (Raleigh) Myers, both of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Rudolph and Georgia Henrietta Borkenstein; husband, David E. Bornkamp; and sisters, Doris Jellison, Nancy Jasper and Marilyn Schmidt. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Msgr. Bruce Piechocki officiating. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
