Mrs Safronia R. Holmes, 71 died Saturday, Jan 3rd, after a weeks illness at the home of her daughter, Arab Rt 2. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 1 PM at Etha Baptist Church with Drinkard officiating, interment in adjoining cemetery. Deceased is survived by her husband, P. M. Holmes, four sons, Forney, Marcus, Cecil and Porter; six daughters Mrs John Harris, Mrs W. D. Albritton, Mrs H. K. Moore, Mrs G. F. Earwood and Mrs Horace Alford; two brothers Edward and Nathan Smith; one sister, Mrs John Bryant.
