Mary Hellyer nee SHANNON b. 02 May 1833 in Larne, Co. Antrim N. Ireland. Daughter of Robert SHANNON and Rose YOUNG.

Mary married in Canada, 1st wife of Joseph M. HELLYER, son of John J. HELLYER and Anne JONES.

They had at least 6 children; the dates are estimates at this time. It is believed the children were born in USA. Some of the descendants changed the surname spelling to "HILLYER":
