Florence married Carlton R. Campbell in Wabash on April 21, 1946; he died November 28, 2004. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Wabash, and loved to read Danielle Steel books. She loved music and her family.

She is survived by three children, Michael J. (Linda) Campbell of Wabash, Patricia S. (Joe) Pense of Logansport, Indiana, and David A. (Cecilia) Campbell of Palm Bay, Florida; 7 grandchildren, Michael J. (Andrea) Campbell, Jr. of Greenwood, Indiana, Brian P. Campbell and Andrew C. Campbell, both of Muncie, Indiana, Scott R. (Lynda) Pense, Ryan P. Pense, Christopher A. (Tinisha) Pense, all of Logansport, and Jasmine Campbell, of Florida; seven great-grandchildren, Collin and Carter Campbell, both of Greenwood, Indiana, Elizabeth, Rochelle, and Jayda Pense, all of Logansport, and Zachery and Bryan Klipple, both of Florida; and her sister, Phyllis Rogge of Wabash. She was preceded in death by five brothers; Merlin, Eugene, Jack, Richard, and Roger Carpenter and six sisters; Vivian Unger, Mildred Trout, Lucille Parks, Gladys Fry, Helen Switzer, and Bernice Sundheimer.
