STATESBORO - James D. Hagin, Sr., 57, died Thursday at
Bulloch County Hospital after a short illness.

The Bulloch County native had lived in Clito all of his life
and was a retired farmer. He was a member and clerk at
Middleground Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. James D. Hagin, Sr. of
Statesboro; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Howell of Brooklet and
Mrs. Mitchell Dedge of Savannah; a son, James D. Hagin Jr. of Madison; his stepfather, A. Q. Aldrich of Brooklet;
four sisters, Mrs. Maxie Hendrix and Mrs. Henrietta Glisson,
both of Statesboro, Mrs. Jackie Futch of Claxton and Mrs.
Viola Snowden of Savannah; two brothers, Raleigh Aldrich of
Statesboro and Jessie B. Aldrich of Brooklet; and five
grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 P.M. today at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the
church cemetery.

Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
