SUNSET - Keith Hanks Green, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Orchard Cove Nursing Home after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He was born April 23, 1923 in Clearfield, Utah, the son of Earl and Catherine Hanks Green.

He married Betty Rose May 20, 1949 in the Logan LDS Temple.

He served in the Air Force during WWII for three years in England.

He worked at the Navy Base in Clearfield, Tooele Ordinance Depot and Hill Air Force Base retiring after 33 years of service.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in various positions.

He enjoyed teaching his son, daughters and grandchildren how to fish. He loved going to Flaming Gorge and catching big Lake Trout. He also liked to hunt, play golf and work in his yard. Keith was a loving and caring person and his great sense of humor helped him and his family through the trials of the last few years.

He is survived by his wife Betty, Sunset; children: Kathryn (Don) Ostler, Bountiful; Cherlynn Hamblin, Tooele; Betty Ann (Mike) Gregory, Roy; Jeffrey (Susan) Green, Clinton; 14 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren.

Also surviving are sisters, Virginia Jepson, Clearfield; Glenna Hensley, Clinton; DelRay Green, West Point; Gaylene Smith, Boise, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Sunset 4th Ward, 220 West 975 North with Bishop Carl Trussel officiating.

Friends may call on Friday at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
