Obituary published in the Brownsville States Graphic, March 21, 2001: Mrs. Annie Bell Walk Freels, Age 96 died in Methodist Health Care in Brownsville, TN at 3:15AM, Friday, March 16, 2001. Mrs. Freels was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Freels, and her daughter, Grace Buchanan. Funeral services will be conducted in Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. George Westover and Bro. Adrain Knipper officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Survivors are one son, John D. Freels of Whiteville, TN; five daughters, Willie Sue Jeter, Lucille Johnson, Lillie Goodman and Betty Hayes, all of Whiteville, TN and Martha Faught of Bartlett, TN; seventeen Grandchildren, thirty-two Great Grandchildren and ten Great Great Grandchildren. (Pallbearers were: Terry Goodman, James Davis, Ken Freels, Gaylon Johnson, Tommy Johnson, John Freels. kd)
