The funeral of Miss Ollie Hoyle, whose death occurred yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. F.C. Houck, interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Miss Hoyle, who was born in this county on June 8, 1867, was just past 51 years. She was the daughter of the late Humphrey Hoyle and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Houck with whom she lived the last several months of her life and two brothers, Dr. Charles Hoyle of Louisiana and Mr. James Hoyle of Davie County. Dr. Hoyle is expected for the funeral this afternoon.

Miss Hoyle was well and favorably known throughout this section. A milliner by profession, she was a talented woman and numbered her friends by the hundreds. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

In addition to her sister and brothers, she is survived by a niece, Mrs. Richard Williams and nephew, Mr. Egbert Hoyle, both of whom she reared from infancy and who were dear to her. She possessed many lovable qualities and was devoted to her friends and relatives.
