Buel Gray, 86, of Spring Creek died Saturday. Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Gray had been a resident of Hutchinson County for 72 years. He was a retired rancher. He had served 40 years on the county soil conservation board and also served as a trustee for the White Deer and Spring Creek schools.

Mr. Gray was born Dec. 31, 1896 in Coleman County, Texas. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Nichols of Spring Creek; a sister, Mrs. Essie Henry of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
