Wife of Ambrose E. Beeler (married 16 Jan 1873 in Shawnee Co., Kansas)

Ambrose (son of Richard P. and Margaret Castleman Beeler) died in Kansas, and Martha returned to Missouri to be near her family.

A short-lived marriage to Andrew Jackson Henson about 1909 ended in divorce, and Martha resumed using her surname of Beeler.

Died, at the home of Fred Gaede Martha Beeler, aged 55 years. Sister Beeler was a daughter of Rev. John and Sister Smith and was born in Buchanon county Mo., November 1856, was the mother of 8 children 6 of whom survive her. About 5 years ago she professed a hope in Christ and was baptised. She was a patient sufferer from pneumonia for nine days when death ended her sufferings. J.J. Watts.
