Orin A. Eversole, 82, died unexpectedly Thursday night while in the barnyard of his farm, one and one-half miles west of Uniondale. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mr. Eversole was born April 18, 1873 in Huntington County to William H. and Lucinda Freds Eversole. His marriage to Laura May Redding, who survives, took place January 1, 1902 at Markle.
Engaged in farming, he was a member of the Uniondale Methodist Church and had resided his entire life in Huntington and Wells counties.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Kenneth Eversole, Uniondale Route 1; two brothers, John Eversole of Bluffton and Charles Eversole of Poneto; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Plank of Bluffton, Mrs. Jennie Boyd of Markle and Mrs. Minnie Fox of Huntington; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Tena Ulmer, Miss Mary Eversole and Mrs. Bertha Calhoon, are deceased.
The body was removed to the Thoma Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Reverend Ralph Davison officiating assisted by Reverend J.E. Jensen of North Webster. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery.
