Caroline Ping died at 7 o'clock
Tuesday night at St. Mary's
after an illness of over two
years. She was taken to the hospital
for treatment three weeks ago.
Mrs. Ping was 67 years old. She was
born at Andersen, Ind, in 1844, but
came with her husband and family to
Decatur thirty years ago. Her husband,
Abraham Ping, died here two years ago
at the family home. 310 East Orchard
street.
Mrs. Ping is survived by five children:
Mrs. Painter, of Oklahoma City,
Okla., Charles Ping, Mt. Erie, Ill.,
Elmer N. Ping, of Huron, S. D., and
Clyde and Frank Ping, of Decatur.
The body was removed to Moran's undertaking
establishment and prepared
for burial.
The funeral will be held at 11 o' clock
Thursday morning at Moran's chapel.
The interment will be In Greenwood.
