W. H. (Bish) Morgan, 82, died Sunday at the home of his son, Robert J. Morgan, in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Morgan, had gone to California approximately two years ago to be near his son.
The body will be cremated. The remains will be returned here at a date yet to be determined for memorial services. Plans will be announced by the Rodrick Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgan, a long time resident of Wayside community, was born on October 28, 1879, in Indiana. He came to Montgomery County as a child and resided continually in this community until he went to the West Coast. His marriage to Etta James of Wayside took place in February, 1905. Mrs. Morgan died in April 1959.
Surviving with the son are two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Sewell, Independence, and Mrs. C. r. Jones, Stafford. Two grandchildren are also survivors.
Mr. Morgan was a birthright member of the Friends Church.
