Mr. Fackrell was the victim of a sudden heart ailment about noon Friday and was taken to a Santa Rosa hospital where he received at least 14 pints of blood. He died yesterday after an eight hour operation.
He was a retired business agent for the Bartenders and Culinary Union in San Mateo, a position he held for 12 years. He lived in Santa Rosa four years and was a veteran of World War I.
Otto is survived by his wife, Edna A. Fackrell, Los Angels; his sisters, Mrs. Reva Wicker, Boonville, Utah, Leone Fackrell, Woods Cross, Utah and Mrs. Deane Houlahan, Evanston, Illinois.
