The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ocean Springs Hospital.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Lois DeRocha Cottom Schott of Ocean Springs, children, Dennis (Cathy) Schott, Gregory (Carol) Schott, all of Jacksonville, FL, Douglas (Judy) Schott of Kennesaw, GA, Jeffrey Schott of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin (Donna) Schott of Irvine, CA, Michael (Beverly) Cottom of Ocean Springs, MS., and Thomas Cottom of Champion, MI., three daughters, Susan Bare of Jacksonville, FL, Lois (Herbert) Tufts and Brandi Cottom, all of Ocean Springs, two sisters, Sarah Harvey of Nebraska, and Charlotte Adams of Michigan, two brothers, Leroy Schott and Eugene Schott both of Nelson, NE, sixteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.
