Pine Hill - Ted M. Davis, 71, of 2085 Slablanding Road, Pine Hill community, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Palmetto Richland Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Double Branch Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Royster officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Heyward H. and Kate Carson Davis. He was retired from The Augusta Fiberglass Company in Blackville and owned and operated Ted's Taxidermy Shop. Mr. Davis was a member of Double Branch Baptist Church, the Adult Sunday School class and Brotherhood and was a former Deacon. He served in the South Carolina Army National Guard and was a member of POPS Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Sheryl Davis; grandson, Brent Davis Lukens; and brother, Bobby H. Davis. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Patsy Livingston Davis of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Terri Lynn) Williamson, of Pine Hill and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Lukens, of Pine Hill; one brother, Mr. Jimmy Vance Davis, of Lake Murray; grandchildren, Rawn and Hillary Williamson, Kelli and Austin Williamson, Brandon Lukens; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Vada. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
