Poland, Martin -- Died, age 54 years, Sunday, April 23, at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at late residence, three and one-half miles northeast Brownsburg. Burial Lizton K. of P. Cemetery about 1:30 p.m. Friends invited. Interurban car leaving Indianapolis at 8:15, arriving in Brownsburg 8:45, car from west arriving in Brownsburg at 9 a.m., will be met with conveyance for any friends wishing to attend funeral.

Martin Poland, a well-known farmer and threshing machine-man residing in the vicinity of Brownsburg, died in an Indianapolis hospital, Sunday night following a surgical operation. It was thought that he had been suffering from cancer of the liver, but the operation showed that his affliction was a hardening of that organ. He was 54 years old. The funeral was held at the home north-east of Brownsburg, yesterday, and interment in the K. of P. cemetery at Lizton.

Rainstown - Word has been received here that Martin Poland, a former resident of this place, had died, Sunday evening at an Indianapolis hospital, where he underwent an operation for hardening of the liver. The family have the sympathy of their old neighbors in their bereavement.
Lizton - Mart Poland died Sunday evening about 7. The funeral was Wednesday with burial in the K. of P. cemetery here.
