Bristol, N. Y. - The body of Mrs. Mary Jane Paul was interred in Evergreen cemetery on Tuesday. Mrs. Paul, who was nearly 86 years old, was the daughter of Samuel and Lucy Hicks. She was united in marriage to Seth Paul. They adopted two daughters, Alice and Hattie, both of whom are dead. She was born and lived, until the death of her husband 25 years ago, on the farm now occupied by John Hayes. Mrs. Paul then moved to the home of her sister, Mrs. Maria A. Rowe of Chatham, who is the only member of her family to survive, with whom she has since made her home, the funeral being held from the residence on Monday afternoon. Rev. George A. Babbitt conducted the services at the grave.
