Mrs. Amanda Hazelwood, 78, died April 26 at her home in the Hanging Rock Community. Rev. Z. F. Tucker had charge of the last rites from the Hanging Rock Church the following day. Interment was in the church cemetery.
The widow of Harve Hazelwood, she is survived by one son, Lennie Hazelwood, of Big Clifty; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Criswell and Mrs. Ova Barnes, both of Leitchfield; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Wilson, of Leitchfield and two brothers, Bob Dennison of Braidwood, Ill., and John Dennison of Valley Station. She also leaves four grandchildern and six great-grandchildern.
