Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Newman, Henry who died at 3 o'clock on Monday morning at her home, 307 Linton Avenue, will be held at four 'clock tuesday afternoon.
Dr. D Lewis White, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the services in the residence on Linton Avenue. Interment will be made in the city cemetery with Foster's Funeral Home in chargeof arrangments.
The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Earl Rogers Jr,, Leroy Moffett, Robert Moffett, T.B. Buckles Jr., Pat Cmpbell III, Garland Newman Jr., William Baldwin Jr., and Mike Baldwin.
She was born in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Solomon and Sarah Knox Newman. Suvivors include three daughters, Mrs. T.P. Pagano from Tulsa, OK; Mrs Marvin Darsy, Natchez, Mrs P.D. Campbell, Houston, Texas. a son, William T. Harrigill, Yazoo City; a brother, E.C. Newman, Oxford and a sister, Mrs. Arlie Harrigill, Natchez. Eight granddaughter and a number of great grandchildren also survive.
