E-2 Kenneth D Sparks, 23, Fort Riley was being held in the Geary county jail today on a first degree murder charge following the Saturday night death of his stepdaughter, LaDonna King, age 2-1/2, in a Topeka hospital.
The deputy district coroner said she died of brain injuries.
