Mrs. Nancy Ann Crawford died Friday, September 5th, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Pulliam, near Slick Rock, at the age of sixty-nine years. Tuberculosis caused her death. She was a wife of the late John Crawford, who died several years ago. Before her marriage she was Miss Nancy Ann Nichols, daughter of the late Mr. T. Y. Nichols, and is survived by two brothers, Messrs Houston and Elias Nichols, both of Slick Rock. She leaves three daughters and one step-son, Mr. Le Roy Crawford, of Silverton, Colo.; Mrs. J. D. Pulliam, Mrs. H. T. Jolly, both of Slick Rock, and Mrs. Critchloe, Axtel, Ky. She was a devout member of the Baptist church and a most lovable lady, held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. The remains were laid to rest Saturday afternoon following her death in the family burying ground on Beaver Creek after funeral services conducted by Rev. Logan Baldock.
