When Arthur Lynn Horel was born on September 2, 1873, in Wisconsin, his father, Elisha, was 45 and his mother, Mary, was 26. He married Ada Alvesta Spooner on September 7, 1893, in Monroe, Wisconsin. They had six children in 21 years. In 1905 Art moved his family to Page county,Iowa where he bought a farm. He died in 1962 in Iowa, at the age of 88.
