FRANK ALLAN DEAD.
Succumbs to Dropsy After Long Illness, Aged 47 Years.
Frank Allan died Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock of dropsy, from which he had suffered for some time. He was 47 years old. His funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Mack Allan, his brother, on High Street. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Schroeder officiated. He was one of the best painters in Monticello when he was well and strong and always had a sympathetic thought for the sorrowing.
