I was young and I still remember Aunt Mildred, she was small in frame and very fragile looking, pretty, with dark hair, pale skin, sweet and soft spoken, her two sons missed a wonderful mother. She was loved by everyone in the family.

I can still see Aunt Mildred laying on a hard hospital table in my grandparents living room waiting to be stable enough to have her heart operated on. I remember thinking at the time that she looked so sick and so scared, I was 15 and could see the fear in her eyes, I have never forgot that look. And then she was gone, so quick, she never came home from the hospital..................she was so young, why do so many good people die so young?
