A longtime resident of Bountiful, Dell Fred Deppe, 69, passed away on June 6, 1990 at his home in Salt Lake City after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born March 19, 1921 in Bountiful to Fred and Elizabeth Knighton Deppe. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He married Mary Lou Gardner on August 6, 1949 in Elko, Nevada. He had a hearty welcome and a lot of love for anyone who walked through the door. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

His family includes, three sons and their wives Bob and Anita, Steve, Mike, and Wendy all of Salt Lake City and a special daughter Sherri Lyn of Woods Cross; six Grandchildren, Colby, Steve, Jennifer, Jeremy, Nichole, and Derek; brother, Ralph and Lola Deppe, Salt Lake City; sister, Mrs. Earl (Ardella), Bountiful; a special sister-in-law, Edith Deppe, Bountiful. Preceded in death by one brother, Earl, two sisters, Mae and Florence.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. in the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main Street, where friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
