MRS. LOUISA ARZINO, resident of this city for nearly 50 years, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. Locicero, 383 North Fifth street, after a lingering illness of many months.

The deceased was a native of Genoa, Italy. She came to this country when a young girl and settled in San Jose, where she has made her residence ever since. Her death will be learned with sorrow by thousands of friends and acquaintances throughout California.

Mrs. Arzino had been confined to her bed for the past ten months and had steadily grown weaker until the end came. Yesterday, knowing that her death was imminent, she called the members of her family around her and bade them an affectionate farewell. She died at the age of 67 years and 6 months.

Thise who are left to mourn her are; three sons, Victor F., Fred, and Andrew Arzino; and two daughters, Mrs. Eva Locicero, and Mrs. Louisa Martinez.

Friends are invited to attend the burial services, which will be held this morning at 9:30 o’clock from her late residence, 383 North Fifth street, thence to the Holy Family church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 o’clock for the repose of her soul. Interment at Santa Clara cemetery.
