Isabell Allen Pinner, 96, of Fletcher, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville.

She was born Dec. 14, 1908, in Buncombe County to the late Rev. Lazarus Allen and the late Emma Carson Allen.

She was a retired housekeeper, having worked for several private homes. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess.

She was the widow of Thomas B. Pinner and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Joshephine Smith and Rosa Adams; brothers, Robert Allen, William Allen, Charles Allen and James C. Allen; and sisters, Lou Allen, Marjorie Adell, Laura Glaze, Anita Allen and Katie Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Emma L. Collington of Fletcher; two sisters, Mary Jones and Birthene Gilliand, both of Fletcher; four grandchildren, Tommy Coleman of Fletcher, Nise Dorsey of Charlotte, Darryl (Grethen) Pinner of Arden and Dymon Adams of Charlotte; eight great-grandchildren, Reggie Pinner, Ebony Dorsey, Crystal Torres, Brandon Coleman, Denetia Jones, Jazmin Pinner, Clara Adams and Seth Coleman; two great-great-grandchildren, Jadicuz Gains and Jayleon Gaines.

The funeral service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Fletcher. Burial will follow in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Fletcher.

Wilson Funeral Directors of Hendersonville is serving the family.
