Ora Beatrice Woods Winfrey, 96, a homemaker, of Westchester Drive, died of heart failure Wednesday at her daughter's home.
Mrs. Winfrey was a longtime resident of Kosciusko before moving to Jackson, MS.
She attended school in Carroll and Montgomery counties. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kosciusko, MS.
Survivors include sons, Overtis Winfrey of Chicago, IL; and Vernon Winfrey of Brentwood, TN; daughters, Marie Winfrey of Chicago, IL; Earlene Harrison of Cedar Rapids, IA; Chrysteen Richards of Jackson, MS; Marvie Frazier of Benton, MS; and Katie Simms of Compton, CA; brother, Walter Woods of Dolton, IL; sisters, Katie Cain of Okmulgee, OK; Willetta Kincade of Chicago, IL; Elma Cottrell of Harvey, IL; Thelma Owens of Mesa, AZ; and Evelyn Holmes of Buffalo, NY; and 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Kosciusko, MS.
Burial in Kosciusko City Cemetery.
