SPEARMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Eloise Larsen, 19, who was dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital in Borger about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church here.
The Rev. Luther Berry, a Baptist minister from Derby, Kan., will officiate. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery near Morse by Simpson Funeral Home of Borger.
Her death, which came only three days after her marriage, was attributed to a heart ailment from which she had suffered for a long time.
Mrs. Larsen was married Saturday night in Spearman and had returned from a short honeymoon in New Mexico. She and her husband, Harlan, were preparing to enroll at West Texas State University at Abilene this fall.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Uptergrove; a brother, Roy Allen Uptergrove; two sisters, Valorie and Lee Ann Uptergrove, all of Spearman; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Parks of Morse and Mrs. Ed Uptergrove of Spearman.
