Ida Belle, the 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cunningham, who reside two miles north of this place, died last Wednesday morning of diphtheria. She was buried the same evening in the U. P. cemetery. The other numbers of the family who are afflicted with the same disease are doing nicely. The sympathy of the community goes out to the family in their sad bereavement.

As the sun arose so bright and beautiful Wednesday morning, Nov. 1st, it seemed to be in sympathy with a sad home near Antrim. The little girl, Ida Belle, aged 9 years, 5 months, youngest daughter of James W. and Florence Cunningham, was taken by the angels to her home in heaven after twelve days' suffering with diptheria.

Tuesday evening she suddenly began to fade, as a flower that blooms so sweetly in the morning sun to fade and die. She has gone from us, but not the hope of seeing here hereafter, as a dear little angle.

We remember her with joy and comfort and with submission to God's will. How we loved the little darling that has gone from us to the land of beauty, where no pain nor sorrow come. How we miss the "little rosebud" that faded so soon. How the parents' love goes with her, that binds them to her heavenly home.

There are left to mourn her loss, three sisters and one brother, Hattie M., Emily J., Florence A. and Presley P., and a host of sorrow friends and neighbors. H.
