Beverly J. MCDaniel, 57, of Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada, died May 18 at Henderson General Hospital in Hamilton following a long battle with cancer. She was formerly of Summerville, PA.
Born in Brookville on June 20, 1952, she was the daughter of Walter C. "Salty" and Lillian M. (Wonderling) Swineford.
She married Wayne Lloyd McDaniel in North Tonawanda, N.Y. He survives.
Mrs. McDaniels graduated from Brookville High School in 1970; she enjoyed reading, gardening and taking care of her dogs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Smith of Amherst, N.Y. and Dorinda Swineford of Summerville; a brother, Douglas Swineford and his wife, Kathy, of Tonawanda; two step-sons, Toldd McDaniel, of Oakville and Geffery McDaniel, of Dunville, Ontario; a step-daughter, Shannon Gould of Brantford, Ontario; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Furlong Funeral Home in Summerville, with Rev. James Steingass, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating.
