Hugh Albert Cooper, Jr.
Mr. Cooper, age 88, of Matthews, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital.
Born October 29, 1919 in Mecklenburg Co., he was a son of the late Hugh Albert Cooper, Sr. and Sally Belle Howell Cooper.
The committal service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery with The Reverend Meg Skidmore, officiating.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy Cooper, Walter Cooper, John Cooper and Barney Cooper; and two sisters, Tenny Thompson and Lee Thompson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McEwen Funeral Service - Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 (704-334-6421).
