Mr. Kinard graduated from Colson School in Bamberg County.
He was retired from Liberty Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Kinard was a charter member of Holmes Avenue Baptist Church, and a member of Remount Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita J. Kinard, and his two sons, Charles "Mack" M. Kinard and wife Cheryl of North Charleston and John "Johnny" H. Kinard of Columbia; daughter, Kathy L. Tucker of Charleston; sister, Nell Geddings of Charleston; 11 grandchildren, Charles Kinard Jr., Tracy Cash, Rhonda Stanley, Patsy Osborne, Jennifer Mims, Richard Rodgers, John H. Kinard III, Rachel Kinard, William Kyle Kinard, Shelcie Meads, and Jessica Meads; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was the best husband, father, and grandfather. He will truly be missed. With love, your family.
Interment was in Carolina Memorial Park.
