Myrtle Carrie Catron was born May 1, 1901 at Topeka, the daughter of Charles Kimball and Dellora (Coffman)Schults. She died Sunday, December 9, 1984 at a nursing home in Topeka, Kansas.
Myrtle grew up in Topeka, she married Clarence Lester Cummickel in 1918. They lived in rural Shawnee and Douglas counties until moving their young family of four girls to Topeka. He preceeded her in death in 1932.
She was a cook for the Ira Price Cafe, the Clipper and Snedeker's all in Topeka, before she retired.
She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church.
In May 4, 1939 she married Erving Ira Catron, they lived together in Topeka until his death in 1980.
Myrtle was the mother of Dorthea Eldean, Betty Rose, Olive Delores and Mary Ellen.
Services were at Parker-Price Mortuary, burial followed in Rochester Cemetery, Topeka.
