Sr. Joanne Evans was an Adrian Dominican Nun for nearly 51 years. She was, early on as a Sister, known as Sister Charles Catherine, OP. She was devoted to the Order as a teacher, as well as a Home Economics Specialist. She was an outstanding seamstress and nearly a gourmet cook/chef. Her talents also included being an accomplished artist. She did have the best sense of humor in the Evans family - a trait that she practiced during her time leading up to her death in Adrian.
